Cheap Authentic NFL Eagles Womens Mack Hollins Jerseys 2017

The opening quarter of the Eagles’ preseason debut finished with the Birds leading the Green Bay Packers 6-0. Quarterback Carson Wentz was on the field for only one drive ,but it was a successful one as the team converted a fourth down on the way to a 38-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Mack Hollins.

Here’s what happened:

• On the Eagles’ first third down of the night, quarterback Carson Wentz found Jordan Matthews on a short pass to the right for a gain of 6 yards. On the play, Matthews spun away from a tackle.

• With just under 11 minutes to go, quarterback Carson Wentz was taken down by linebacker Nick Perry for a loss of 8 yards on the play, making it second-and-18.

• At the 10:11 mark, Packers’ cornerback Damarious Randall was injured and taken off the field after a 9-yard rush from running back LeGarrette Blount.

• A few plays later, the Eagles went for it on fourth down and once again Wentz and Matthews connected for a 7-yard pass down the middle for an Eagles first down on Green Bay’s 42 yards line.

• The Eagles struck first as Carson Wentz found rookie wide receiver Mack Hollins along the sideline who broke tackles from Packers cornerbacks Kevin King and Quinten Rollins before Hollins tipped along the sidelines and took it 38 yards for an Eagles touchdown.

• Head coach Doug Pederson elected to go for the two-point conversion following the score, but Wentz’s pass sailed too high for wide receiver Nelson Agholor.

• With 5:51 to go in the first, Ty Montgomery was brought down defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and linebacker Jordan Hicks which forced a fumble that was recovered by cornerback Patrick Robinson at the Green Bay 27-yard line.

• On fourth-and 1, running back Corey Clement was stuffed short by leading to a turnover on downs at the Green Bay 7 yard line with just over 2 minutes left.

Carson Wentz finished the quarter going 4 of 4 for 56 yards and a touchdown, totaling a perfect quarterback rating of 158.3.

Supply NFL Authentic Eagles Youth Donnel Pumphrey Jersey

The Eagles announced on Tuesday morning that they have released running back Ryan Mathews.

“We want to thank Ryan for his contributions to the Philadelphia Eagles over the past two seasons,” the team said in a statement. “We spoke today and had a productive conversation about his future and the direction of our team going forward. First and foremost, we are glad that Ryan is healthy and has been cleared to return to football activities, but given the current state of our running back position, we feel like it is best for both sides to go in a different direction. We wish him all the best as he continues his career.”

A former first-round pick of the San Diego Chargers in 2010, Mathews was signed by the Eagles in 2015. In his two seasons with the team, Mathews gained 1,200 yards on 261 carries (almost 4.6 yards per rush) and scored 14 touchdowns. He suffered a neck injury in the December 22 win over the New York Giants that required surgery.

The Eagles signed LeGarrette Blount in free agency to be the lead back in 2017. The Eagles also drafted Donnel Pumphrey, the FBS’ all-time leading rusher, in the fourth round of this year’s draft and signed Corey Clement as a rookie free agent. In addition, the Eagles have Darren Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, and Byron Marshall from last season.

Head coach Doug Pederson will address the move in his press conference following practice at around 11 a.m.

Cheap Authentic Football Womens Eagles Rasul Douglas Jersey

Rasul Douglas’ debut for the Philadelphia Eagles didn’t go unnoticed by defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.

Douglas allowed just one catch for eight yards in 22 defensive snaps for the Eagles in Thursday’s preseason loss to the Green Bay Packers. He also had a pass breakup, earning a 80.9 overall grade by Pro Football Focus.

“First preseason game, I thought he stood out,” Schwartz said. “Every time we’ve taken a step up in competition, he’s sort of met that challenge, you know, and it might not look the same on a normal practice, but on our first padded practice, he really stood out.”

Douglas worked with the Eagles second-team defense and is likely to remain there with the acquisition of Ronald Darby. While Douglas wasn’t tested on the deep ball in the game, he has improved in that department as training camp comes to a close.

“He’s got great length. He can get his hands on balls. He responded quickly to things that happened in the game,” Schwartz said. “Did a couple nice things on special teams, too, and that’s important for young corners. So he’s on the right track. Like so many players, and I’m sure you guys are tired of hearing this from me, he’s just striving for consistency.”

Cheap Authentic NFL Eagles Sidney Jones Jerseys 2017

The Eagles released cornerback Dwayne Gratz on Sunday and placed defensive tackle Beau Allen and cornerback Sidney Jones on the active/non-football injury list. They also officially signed quarterback Dane Evans, finalizing a few procedural moves on the eve of the first practice of training camp.

The Eagles will take the field Monday morning with rookies, quarterbacks, and selected veterans. The first full-team session is Thursday.

Gratz, 27, joined the Eagles roster last December and was with the team throughout the spring. He offered starting experience from earlier in his career in Jacksonville, but he could not ascend on the depth chart during the offseason program. Beyond the top options at cornerback, returning players Aaron Grymes and C.J. Smith stood out this spring.
Allen and Jones are both recovering from injuries that will keep them out this summer. Allen suffered a pectoral injury while training in April, and Jones tore his Achilles tendon at his Pro Day in March. Their roster designations allow them to return to practice at any time in training camp, although that’s not expected to happen. Their roster status could change as the season approaches and the Eagles must pare their roster to 53 players.

Evans will be the team’s fourth quarterback. The undrafted rookie from Tulsa tried out for the Eagles during the spring. He is behind Carson Wentz, Nick Foles, and Matt McGloin.

2016 Review

Barnett’s junior season at Tennessee was one of the best in college football. He had 56 tackles (19 for loss), 13 sacks, five pass deflections and two forced fumbles last season for the Volunteers, earning All-America honors.

His 13 sacks and 19 tackles for loss each led the SEC. Barnett’s 91.9 Pro Football Focus overall grade in 2016 was second-best among all edge players in the country (Myles Garrett led the nation with 92.1).

Barnett was selected by the Eagles in the first-round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

How Barnett preformed in 2017 minicamp

The Eagles had a plan to ease Barnett in with the second team at defensive end, but Barnett left defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz with no choice but to elevate him up the depth chart.

Barnett got better throughout the four weeks of minicamp, adjusting to the speed of NFL offensive linemen while learning the playbook at an accelerated rate.

Barnett beat Lane Johnson on consecutive plays at right defensive end during Eagles mandatory minicamp, which continued a strong few days of practice for the rookie. Barnett’s “ankle flexion” was on display, which is when he gets so low to the ground without losing speed and makes it tough for offensive linemen to get hands on him.

Johnson and Barnett had quite a few battles over the four weeks of minicamp.

Outlook for Barnett heading into 2017 training camp

Barnett will compete with Vinny Curry for the defensive end spot opposite of Brandon Graham, but he is the front-runner to win the job heading into training camp.

The Eagles have rotated Barnett at left and right defensive end, but would prefer to keep Graham on the left side and line up Barnett on the right.

A strong training camp and preseason from Barnett will land him a starting defensive end spot come Week 1 of the regular season. The Eagles just need to see how he performs in full pads and against NFL defenses first.

Barnett will get plenty of opportunities to do so.

Cheap Authentic NFL Eagles Alshon Jeffery Jerseys

Jay Cutler believes Alshon Jeffery is set up pretty well to thrive in his first year with the Philadelphia Eagles. Now the body just needs to hold up.

The former Chicago Bears quarterback-turned-Fox analyst joined Adam Schefter’s Know Them From Adam podcast this week and was asked how his former batterymate will do with Eagles QB Carson Wentz this season.

“He’ll do well,” Cutler responded. “Mike Groh is there, the wide receivers coach. He had Al in Chicago when we were all there. Mike knows him really well, can get the most out of him.

“And I think that Al knows this is a huge year for him. You know, it’s another one-year deal for him. I mean, if he stays healthy and he works hard, I mean, the guy is unbelievable. He’s just had some bad luck with some injuries that have kind of plagued him. You know, one injury will lead to another injury to another injury. It’s hard at that position to battle back and get healthy again and be productive.”

Jeffery has missed 11 games over the past two seasons, scoring just six touchdowns during that stretch after racking up 20 TDs over the first three years of his career. He was suspended four games in 2016 for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances and was slowed by various injuries. Playing with three different quarterbacks as a result of Cutler’s shoulder ailment, the 27-year-old Jeffery finished with 52 catches for 821 yards and two scores. With the market not quite as giving as he would like, he signed a one-year deal with the Eagles that can be worth as much as $14 million.

Jeffery cited the presence of Wentz as one of the reasons he chose to spend his “prove-it” year in Philly. Though the on-field relationship is very much a work in progress, Wentz has already seen the benefit of being paired up with soft-handed, 50-50 ball-winning wideout.

“For the most part, I think we’re all clicking together,” said Jeffery. “We’re all getting to know each other.”

Cutler spoke well of Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and his offensive system, and thinks the team is taking the right approach by surrounding Wentz with weapons early in his career –including his old partner.

“So I would think if Al’s healthy, he’s going to have a good year,” he said.
